HYDROGYN Singer Schedules Solo Shows

Singer Julie Westlake of Ashland, Kentucky rockers HYDROGYN will play several solo shows in the next couple months while taking a break from the recording of the band's next album and her own solo CD. She will perform live tonight (Thursday, December 10) in South Charleston, West Virginia at Quaker Steak And Lube from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

HYDROGYN is about halfway through the recording process for its new CD. It has been a very creative situation and so they have continued to write and record anything and everything they are coming up with along with some very cool covers as well.

Dec. 19 - Quaker Steak and Lube - Mentor, OH
Jan. 16 - Quaker Steak and Lube - Canton, OH

"If These Walls Could Talk", a brand new song from HYDROGYN, is available for free download at this location. The never-before-released cut was written in the summer of 2007 by HYDROGYN's Jeff Westlake (guitar) and Julie Westlake (vocals),along with Craig Goldy of DIO fame, and is set to appear on HYDROGYN's forthcoming third album, due in early 2010. The follow-up to "Deadly Passions", HYDROGYN's upcoming CD was produced by Michael Wagener (SKID ROW, KING'S X).

"Deadly Passions" was recorded in Huntington, West Virginia's Smash Hits Studio and included a cover of ALANIS MORISSETTE's mega-smash "You Oughta Know".
